3. Master and slave control

Two or more identical lamps are connected using DMX three-core signal cables. All lamps are assigned any address code from 001 to 512, with one lamp set as the master and the others as slaves. The slave displays do not flicker. When the master adjusts the effects such as gradient, pulse, jump, sound control, and self-walking, all slaves will synchronize these effects.
Special attention: 1. Only one host can be set for a group of lamps. If there are multiple hosts, all lamps will flash randomly and out of sync.
2. All lamps must be turned off when the DMX512 console is closed for the master and slave machines to function.
4.DMX512 control

4.1, address code

After setting the address code of all lamps, connect all lamps in parallel with DMX three-core signal lines to DMX512 control console. The address code stops flashing, indicating that the signal of DMX512 control console has been sent to the lamps. Control relevant functions according to channel instructions with DMX512 control console.

5. Common faults

For some common faults, corresponding solutions are proposed. Any problems that cannot be solved should be handled by professionals. Before maintaining the lamp, disconnect the power supply first.
1. The lamp is not bright

 Check whether the voltage matching the lamp is installed;
 Check whether the power supply connection of the lamp or the control switch is in poor contact;
 Check whether the power supply is insufficient;
 Check whether the DMX512 controller has sent a command.

2. The lamp is not controlled by the console after normal reset

 Check whether the digital start address value and function options of the lamp are correct;
 Check whether the connection of the communication control line is correct, whether the communication line is too long or has been interrupted;
 Check whether the control equipment is invalid, and check whether the signal amplifier connected in series is invalid;
 Check whether the communication line is too long or there is interference from other equipment;
 Optimize the wiring, shorten the length of control signal lines, and separate high voltage and low voltage lines;
 Add signal amplifier;
 Signal lines use high quality shielded twisted pair;
 Connect a signal terminal resistor (120 ohms) at the end of the lamp.

3. The lamp cannot be started

 Check whether the power supply parameters are consistent with the lamp;
 Check whether the contact is poor or the lamp falls off due to compression deformation, internal parts vibration and moisture during long-distance transportation.
 Please check whether the internal wires and connectors of the lamp are loose.
 Check whether the electronic components of the lamp (such as electronic transformer, PCB board, motor control board, etc.) are loose, short circuit and burned.
